Good evening, dear customers, due to the recent increases in hardware prices (HDDs and RAM), we are forced to increase our prices.
We would like to apply 1-2 USD per service. Our prices have not been changed for approximately 4 years. If the costs we mention below decrease, we will reduce the prices again as well, but because we live in a world full of greedy people, I don't really believe that will happen.
Why are we changing the prices?
HDD costs (In the past, 16 TB HDDs cost approximately 150 euros, 18 TB HDDs approximately 170 euros. At the moment, for a refurbished HDD we pay between 400 and 500 euros, a price 3 times higher.)
Fuel costs (At the end of this year, the contract with our data center will expire and will have to be renewed, and from what I understand it will be renewed at a 25% higher price.)
Reason: Fuel costs for generators.
RAM costs (For 32 GB DDR4 RAM modules, we used to pay 16 euros (yes, you read that right), now we pay approximately 80–100 euros.)
And other smaller cost factors:
VAT in our country increased from 19% to 21%
Tariffs applied by Donald Duck to certain EU countries (Yes, they affect us)
Higher fuel costs = more expensive transportation
USD depreciation vs EUR
Electricity costs (a problem that appeared 2 years ago, but we did not change the prices back then)
We are trying to be profitable.
